A Foot Pursuit in June, Charges in October
CFSEU-BC says that on June 13, 2026, Uniform Gang Enforcement Team officers conducting proactive patrols in Port Alberni encountered a man in connection with an observed Motor Vehicle Act infraction. The man fled from police and was arrested following a foot pursuit, the release says, on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking and flight from a peace officer. Officers located suspected drugs consistent with drug trafficking and also seized cash and a weapon.
According to CFSEU-BC, the Port Alberni RCMP General Investigation Section then continued investigating the man’s alleged drug-trafficking activities. The release says Pouliot was charged on October 29, 2026, the same day Port Alberni RCMP arrested him and searched his residence under a warrant.

The release credits the CFSEU-BC Uniform Gang Enforcement Team and the Port Alberni RCMP General Investigation Section. Sgt. Sarbjit K.
