Get in Touch
Whether you have a tip, a correction, a document, or a media request, we want to hear from you. Gangland Files is read by researchers, journalists, and people close to the stories we cover — and some of our best reporting starts with a single message.
Submit a Tip
If you have information about organized crime activity in Canada — a name, a case, a connection the mainstream press has missed — reach out. We evaluate every tip against the same standard as everything else we publish: we only run what we can verify against a credible, attributable origin.
How to Reach Us Securely
For routine tips and inquiries, email us at info@ganglandfiles.com. If your information is sensitive, take precautions: use an email account not tied to your real name, and avoid sending from a work or employer-monitored device. We never publish the identity of a confidential source, and we never expose where information came from.
What to Include
For the Strongest Tip
- The who and where: names, locations, organizations, or case references involved.
- Documentation: court filings, police releases, case numbers, or links to credible coverage — anything that lets us verify.
- Timing: when it happened, and whether it’s ongoing.
- How we can follow up: a safe way to reach you, if you’re comfortable. Anonymous tips are welcome too.
Corrections
Report an Error
Accuracy is the foundation of everything we publish. If you believe we’ve gotten something wrong, email info@ganglandfiles.com with the article title and the specific correction. We review every correction request promptly and update the published record where warranted.
Media & Research Inquiries
Journalists, academics, and researchers working on Canadian organized crime are welcome to get in touch. We’re happy to point to public sourcing where we can, though we never compromise a confidential source or an active line of reporting.
Source Protection
Our Commitment
We protect our sources absolutely. We do not disclose the identity of confidential sources to anyone — not to law enforcement, not to other media, not under legal pressure. If you share information with us in confidence, that confidence is permanent.
