Emergency dispatch received urgent 911 reports on April 25, 2026, as an explosive fire engulfed a multi-story family home on Rue Boudreau. Responding fire crews fought back the flames while police established a crime scene perimeter.
Investigators unsealed that two masked suspects arrived on site carrying liquid accelerants and incendiary devices. Upon igniting the structure, one operative fled in a getaway vehicle, while the second—engulfed in a violent backdraft—suffered catastrophic burns before collapsing nearby. Paramedics rushed him to a specialized burn unit under police guard.
