According to Around and About, Ontario Provincial Police have charged three men after a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act search warrant was executed on the morning of Wednesday, October 7, 2026 at a Main Street address in Sables-Spanish Rivers Township. The account, published on October 8, credits the execution to the North East Region Ontario Provincial Police Community Street Crime Unit, “with the assistance of the OPP’s Tactics and Rescue Unit (TRU), Canine Unit and Emergency Response Team (ERT)”. It says police seized over $14,000 in suspected cocaine, over $16,000 in suspected methamphetamine, over $8,000 in Canadian currency, and also digital scales, compound bows, pellet guns, packaging materials and five cellphones. Zachary Delisle, 39, of Sables-Spanish Rivers Township, Nicholas Martin, 38, of Sudbury, and Johnathon Trudeau, 44, of Sables-Spanish Rivers Township were each held in custody and remanded after a bail hearing before the Ontario Court of Justice. The account names no criminal organization, gang or club, gives no occurrence number, and carries no quotation from any officer.

The Counts, as the Account Words Them

The account sets out a separate list for each accused. Zachary Delisle, 39, is charged with “Possession of proceeds obtained by crime over $5,000”, five counts of “Possession of weapon for a dangerous purpose”, “Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking (cocaine)”, “Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking (heroin)”, “Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking (methamphetamine)”, and two counts of “Possession of a Schedule IV substance for the purpose of trafficking” — eleven counts.

Nicholas Martin, 38, is charged with “Possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime over $5,000”, “Fail to comply with probation order”, “Breach of recognizance”, five counts of “Possession of weapon for a dangerous purpose”, “Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking (cocaine)”, “Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking (heroin)”, “Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking (methamphetamine)”, and two counts of “Possession of a Schedule IV substance” — thirteen counts. The two Schedule IV counts against Mr. Martin are worded without the words “for the purpose of trafficking” that the account attaches to the equivalent counts against the other two men, and that difference is reproduced here as published rather than smoothed over.

Johnathon Trudeau, 44, is charged with nine counts of “Failure to comply with release order”, five counts of “Possession of weapon for a dangerous purpose”, “Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking (cocaine)”, “Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking (heroin)”, “Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking (methamphetamine)”, and two counts of “Possession of a Schedule IV substance for the purpose of trafficking” — nineteen counts.

Two Different Count Totals

The account’s headline and summary give the figure of 44 charges. The three itemised lists add to 43: eleven for Mr. Delisle, thirteen for Mr. Martin and nineteen for Mr. Trudeau. Both figures appear in the same account and this briefing reports both and chooses neither.

What Was Seized, and What Was Not Described

The account words the seizure as “over $14,000 in suspected cocaine, over $16,000 in suspected methamphetamine, over $8,000 in Canadian currency”, with digital scales, compound bows, pellet guns, packaging materials and five cellphones also seized. The two drug figures are dollar values, not weights, and the account publishes no weight or quantity for the cocaine or the methamphetamine. Heroin appears in the charge list against all three men, but the account describes no heroin among the items seized. No firearm is described as seized; the compound bows and pellet guns are the only weapons the account identifies, and it does not say which of the fifteen “Possession of weapon for a dangerous purpose” counts, five against each man, relates to which item. The account does not say whether more than one address was searched — it describes one Controlled Drugs and Substances Act search warrant at a Main Street address.

Why This Sits on the Beat

This briefing reports the charges, seizure and remands as the Around and About account words them, and applies no organization label because the account names none.

Zachary Delisle, Nicholas Martin and Johnathon Trudeau are each charged and are presumed innocent until proven guilty; none of the counts has been tested in court. Every allegation here is the Ontario Provincial Police’s as the account words it, not in the force’s own published wording: the release itself was not read, and the charge wording above is reproduced from the account published by Around and About. No gang, outlaw motorcycle club, crime family, syndicate or cartel label has been applied, because neither account applies one. Neither account mentions a publication ban.
