BRAMPTON — Peel Regional Police major crime detectives have unsealed a Canada-wide arrest warrant for a 19-year-old Brampton resident wanted for attempted murder following a firearm ambush inside a moving vehicle.

The investigation, managed by the 21 Division Criminal Investigation Bureau, tracks back to a violent encounter in central Brampton where two victims were trapped in a closed vehicle and shot at point-blank range.

The Central Park Drive Shootout

The incident occurred on the night of April 6. According to sworn court dockets, two victims were parked in a vehicle near 1020 Central Park Drive in Brampton when 19-year-old **Kaleb Kimotho** and an unidentified secondary suspect entered the rear passenger seat.

As the vehicle began driving away, Kimotho allegedly pulled a concealed firearm and discharged multiple rounds inside the tight cabin space. Both victims sustained severe gunshot wounds but managed to escape and seek emergency medical trauma care. Kimotho and his co-conspirator fled into the surrounding residential sector before tactical containment could be established.
