SCARBOROUGH — The Integrated Gun and Gang Task Force has confirmed that 29-year-old Bernell Prince Galloway, wanted for a daylight firearm discharge near Rouge Park, has surrendered to officers at 42 Division.

Galloway walked into the Scarborough station on Tuesday, July 28, following a forty-eight-hour public manhunt launched when investigators unsealed his identity and warning profile across law enforcement channels.

The Morningside and Old Finch Dispute

The arrest stems from a shooting on Saturday, July 25, 2026, at approximately 3:00 p.m. Emergency callers reported active gunfire near Morningside Avenue and Old Finch Avenue.

According to police dockets, Galloway became involved in an argument with the victim before producing a loaded, prohibited firearm and firing multiple rounds. He fled the scene before tactical officers established an outer perimeter.
