What CHCH Reported From the Building
CHCH News reported the shooting earlier the same day, in an account by Julia Vellucci posted at 11:21 a.m. and updated at 5:44 p.m. CHCH reported that a notice letter it obtained from the building refers to 461 Green Road, and that a firearm was discharged in the building’s rear parking lot. The address and the parking-lot location come from that notice as CHCH describes it, not from the police release, which gives only the intersection.
According to the CHCH account, the rear visitor parking area is inaccessible. CHCH reported that an emergency meeting will review security at the building, discuss enhanced access control and consider expanded camera coverage. An earlier version of the account advised the public to expect delays and avoid the area.

The release mentions no arrest or charge, and anyone who is charged would be presumed innocent until proven guilty. Everything stated here about the shooting is what the force published on October 11, 2026 or what CHCH News reported the same day; that the shooting was targeted is the police characterization, not a finding of fact. No gang, outlaw motorcycle club, crime family, syndicate or cartel label has been used here, because neither source used one.
