Mississauga Commercial Stabbing Takedown: Peel Police Arrest Gregory Darling Following Commercial Plaza Attack
MISSISSAUGA — Investigators from Peel Regional Police 12 Division Criminal Investigations Bureau have unsealed an arrest file charging 32-year-old Gregory Darling of Brampton in connection with a violent stabbing attack inside a commercial establishment in Mississauga.
The stabbing occurred at approximately 1:40 a.m. on Friday, August 1, 2026, at a commercial unit near Dixie Road and Aimco Boulevard. Responding patrol officers located an adult male suffering from multiple stab wounds before paramedics rushed him to a regional trauma center.

Following an extensive nine-day major crime investigation analyzing commercial security footage and interviewing witnesses, 12 Division CIB detectives executed a tactical arrest of Darling in Brampton.
Police confirmed the victim is expected to survive his injuries. Darling remains remanded in custody at the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton facing aggravated assault and weapon possession indictments.
