Cobourg Police Charge Fraser Einarsson, 34, of Cobourg With Fourteen Counts by a Tally of the Listed Charges, Including Possession of a Prohibited Weapon and Carry Concealed Weapon, and Charge Three Others, After a Search Warrant at a Cobourg Residence Produces Fentanyl, Cocaine, Scales, Prohibited Knives and Prohibited Weapons (October 17, 2026)
The Cobourg Police Service says four people were arrested after officers executed a search warrant at a residence in the Town of Cobourg on October 16, 2026, as part of what the force calls an ongoing investigation into drug trafficking in the town. The release says the Street Crime Enforcement Unit, the Canine Unit and Uniform Patrol took part, and that officers seized a quantity of fentanyl, a quantity of cocaine, Canadian currency, scales, cellphones, prohibited knives and prohibited weapons. Fraser Einarsson, 34, of Cobourg is the only accused the release names, and the force says he was held in custody for a bail hearing. The release was posted on October 17 and reported by Quinte News early on October 18.
The Search Warrant and the Seizure List
The force describes the arrests as following the conclusion of a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act investigation, and says the search warrant was executed on October 16, 2026 at a residence in the Town of Cobourg. The release does not give a street address, and it describes one residence.
Each item on the seizure list is described generically. The release attaches no weight to either the fentanyl or the cocaine, listing “a quantity” of each, and it attaches no dollar figure to the Canadian currency. It does not say which of the four accused any seized item is attributed to, and it carries no occurrence or file number.
The Fourteen Counts Against Fraser Einarsson
Einarsson, 34, of Cobourg faces fourteen counts by a tally of the listed charges. The force says he was held in custody for a bail hearing; the release does not give a court date.
Three Others Charged
Three other people were arrested and charged, and the release names none of them: a 33-year-old Cobourg woman, a 50-year-old Cobourg man and a 34-year-old Baltimore man. All three were released on undertakings with future court dates. The woman faces the two drug possession counts; each of the two men faces the same two counts plus one count of failing to comply with probation.
