Ten Aliases, Ten Charges and Two Guns That Left a Brampton House With a Man Already Barred From Touching One: Peel Police Name Jason Randolph Blake Bowden, 42, of No Fixed Address, Seventeen Days After Arresting Him (September 25, 2026)
The guns did not come from a trafficker. According to Peel Regional Police, they came out of a woman’s own house in Brampton, taken by a man who had reached her through a dating platform, and the man now charged with taking them was already under a court order forbidding him to have a firearm at all. Investigators have published ten counts, ten aliases and a request for more victims — and almost nothing else. They arrested him on September 8. They said so on September 25.
What police say happened
Investigators with the 22 Division Criminal Investigation Bureau say a woman was deceived through an online dating platform. On Tuesday, September 1, 2026, two firearms were stolen from her residence in Brampton.
A week later, on September 8, officers arrested a man in the area of Dundas Street West and Erin Mills Parkway in Mississauga. Searches produced two stolen firearms, ammunition, multiple fraudulent identification documents, and bank cards bearing a range of different names.
Jason Randolph Blake Bowden, 42, of no fixed address was charged and held pending a bail hearing at the Ontario Court of Justice. Police say they believe there are additional victims and have asked anyone with a similar experience to come forward.
The count that carries the weight
Of the ten charges, one sits apart from the rest. Possession of a firearm contrary to order alleges that Bowden was already bound by a court order barring him from possessing a firearm when these two were in his hands. A failure to comply with a probation order count runs alongside it. Two of the ten counts, in other words, allege he was already inside the justice system’s reach when the offences occurred.
Two counts of breaking, entering and stealing a firearm carry the theft itself — one per gun. Two counts of possession of a weapon obtained by crime and two counts of knowledge of unauthorized possession of a firearm double up the same way. The remaining two counts, possession of a counterfeit stamp and possession of property obtained by crime, attach to the documents and cards rather than the guns.
The names
The release attributes ten aliases to Bowden: London Valentine Flowers, Cody Young, Adam Bowden, Jason Lafleur, Jason Magnusson, Blake Valentine Genovese, Blake Valentine Magnusson, Ryan John Elliot, Cory Lafleur and David Walter Parkins. Publishing a list that long alongside a request for more victims is itself a statement about how police expect this file to grow: they are inviting people who never heard the name Bowden to recognise one of the other ten.
